an intimate relationship with god seemed appropriate, considering i was the one drawing this. considering a lot of things. sorry for the picture...i don't think it would have fit in the scanner. done with a 0.7mm and black colored pencil for the words. probably...an hour overall? I worked on it in brief stints, last night and this morning. the text reads: "let every happen to you, beauty and terror. just keep going. No feeling is final. Don't let yourself lose me. - Give me your hand." it is an excerpt from one of my favorite Rilke poems, 1.59 |
